Daily Journal Continued April 22, 1999, By William Thomas Thompson On this clear Spring morning with March winds still blowing, I do feel great. The struggle to paint art or to do the most pressing jobs to keep things rolling. This is the morning we turn the kit-chen table upside down the glue the leg back together before the whole thing falls. To grout the tile on the deck and to clean out the basement to find vital parts to fix other things. I have missed my own upside down machine to service my brain to fix the table so my arms can reach food. A white grapefruit half and 2 eggs with grits will do. Lunch is late at Schlotzsky's vegetarian soup and sandwich with water to drink. I feel great; I am sugar free and as happy as I can be. I feel strong and I cannot go wrong. My afternoon went well as much as I can tell. I was concerned about shipping my 5 paintings to Vegas for the show. A friend helped me box them and take them to the van. When I got to UPS, they turned me down because the 48x48 inch box was bigger than they accept, then I went to Federal Express near by in the hardest of places to get to out of town. They took the carton of my art even though it was larger than 130 inches, the limit for UPS. They weighed it but their scales were small and only 35lbs would set on them. Then they did not have change for a 100 dollar bill. Finally they took up money from all their employees to get me $32.00 change. I am glad that I could send my paintings via air so maybe they will arrive well. Boo Boo got out at lunchtime in all the rush and went to his girl  friends house but when they were not home he went to a neighbor's house, we were all looking for a dead dog in the streets until some tipped us off as to his whereabouts. The police had another party here on East North Street this afternoon welcoming many motorists to their speed trap in the Overbrook Baptist Church yard. It’s all like an army and like a war fighting to kill or to destroy people that are hard working and slaves to the state. That reminds me to go to the awful DMV to opt out of the seatbelt law and to opt out of the drivers license sell for my security as they tell us. The South Carolina Highway Dept. announced today that they are spending $25 million to upgrade their computer which goes down an average of 3 times everyday, I was hoping they would just leave it down and give it last rights, they are late for y2k and it will be a mess, Gothic games played by the trench coats is super satanic anarchy and violence is a religion legal to practice in public schools. I expect all schools will experience such soon. They have outlawed God and legalized Satan. Now they have the devil to deal with in public schools from snowing Denver to every state of this nation. 14 other threats in schools on the same day shows how organized a movement is to destroy the system of education that has fed this resistance for so long, its like they are biting the hand that fed them and given them extreme rights to commit awful crimes. Let it end now. Shut down a system of permissiveness and install right. Destruction is coming from the young that know only violence; they shall succeed in destroying this world they live in. There is no hope in the lives of these people. Without hope the people perish and this is the result of a Godless society, the beginning of end.
